PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The 10th ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team will be in action Tuesday (April 3) when they host Davis and Elkins with the game set to start at 12 p.m.
Storm Report: The Storm is 6-1 overall and 3-0 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action. The Storm is riding a six game winning streak, and most recently defeated Maryville. Head Coach Steve Gartelman said, "The team is in a great place, the guys are clicking and seem ready to start the second half of spring."
Opposition Position: The Senators are 0-7 overall and 0-3 in conference play, and are coming off a loss to Wheeling Jesuit. Coach Gartelman added, "Davis and Elkins has a very fluid offense that plays with good pace and movement, and it's tough to account for their off ball movements. Defensively, they will slide aggressively and mix in zone so they will keep us guessing. It is important for us to come out and play our style game right away. We need to dictate the tempo and pace all over the field to make it less of a 1/2 field game and more of a full field game."
Coach Gartelman concluded, "It will take four quarters of 100% focus and 100% effort to get the win."
Forecast: Lake Erie will be back in action Saturday (April 7) when they travel to take on Wheeling Jesuit, with the game set to start at 1 p.m.
