PAINESVILLE, Ohio-- Lake Erie College head swimming coach Nikki Rose officially announced the addition of Michael Labagh as a graduate assistant coach.
"We are excited to welcome Coach Labagh to our swimming program and looking forward to the new knowledge and experiences he will be sharing with our athletes," Rose said. "We are eager to begin this 2013-2014 season and implement some new types of training!"
Prior to coming to Lake Erie, Labagh spent a season as an assistant coach at King's College. Before his time there, Labagh served as the Head Boys and Girls Swimming Coach at Abington Heights High School, leading the girls team to a district championship.
Labagh is a 2011 graduate or Misericordia University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies focused in Sport Management. At Misericordia, Labagh was a three-year member of the swimming team, winning a Coach's Award and a Sportsmanship Award in his time there. Labagh also spent one year at Lesley University and was a member of the soccer, volleyball and tennis teams.
