WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Redshirt junior All-American Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) hit his second NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships provisional qualifying mark in as many days as a light day of action concluded the Wake Forest University Open for the Lake Erie College track and field teams Saturday (March 16).
Snyder ran the 400-meter hurdles in 52.45 seconds to place second in the event and hit the provisional standard. He reached provo status in the 110-meter hurdles on Friday.
The only other top-10 finish for the Storm men on Saturday was by the 4x400-meter relay team that placed ninth with a time of 3:18.27.
For the women, freshman Brittany MacRae (Runnemede, N.J./Triton Regional) set a school record in the javelin with a throw of 108' 5" (33.06 meters).
Only nine events were held on each side Saturday as a majority of the competition was held the previous day and evening.
The Storm are off until March 29-30 when they return to North Carolina for the Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C. State.
