BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Joe Postwaite kicked off the 2015 NCAA Division-II Indoor Track and Field National Championships for the Storm Friday (March 13) in the high jump.
Postwaite (Rochester, N.Y./Gates Chili) cleared the opening height of 2.02 meters (6'7.5") on his second attempt. He also successful on his second attempt at 2.07 meters (6'9.5").
However, Postwaite was unable to clear 2.12 meters (6'11") as he finished in 10th.
Postwaite is back in action tomorrow (March 14), competing in the triple jump. He will be joined by Nadia Lee (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) and Destiny Prusky (Newton Falls, Ohio/Newton Falls) , who will be competing in the triple and high jump, respectfully.
