ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Lake Erie College track and field team was in action today as a small group of athletes competed in the Big Meet at Grand Valley St. University.
Nadia Lee (Tucker, Ga. / Tucker) led the Storm as she was victorious in the women's triple jump as she cleared a distance of 11.79 meters, or 38'8.25" feet.
Jake Graham (Gomer, Ohio / Columbus Grove) led the Storm men as he broke a school record in the 5000 meter, in a time of 15:06.10 minutes
Vincent Horning (Stow, Ohio / Stow) ran the mile in a time of 4:13.42 minutes, which broke a school record.
Jordan Pritchard (Painesville, Ohio / Lake Catholic) also broke a school record in the 800 meter in a time of 1:53.73 minutes.
Gift Omo–Ekpadi (Hatfield, Pa. / North Penn) placed sixth in the men's triple jump as he jumped a distance of 13.68 meters or 44'10.75" feet.
Lake Erie will be back in action tomorrow as they compete in the Dragon Invite at Tiffin University.
