The News-Herald's live basketball talk show and audiocast,
"Monday Night Fast Break," returns to Hooley House from 7 to 8:30
tonight featuring undefeated Mentor, No. 3 in the latest Associated
Press Division I state boys basketball poll, and a host of coaches
and players from the area.
In addition, tonight's show will feature two special guests from the college ranks, and one from a top area girls program. Lake Erie College women's coach Bob Booher, Hiram assistant coach and former South head coach Dave Munson and current South girls coach Erin Ertter and the Rebels are all scheduled to appear.
The show will be recorded and available as an audiocast Tuesday morning at www.News-Herald.com.
Tonight's show will feature a look back at last weekend's action, including a breakdown of the marquee matchup between Mentor and Euclid, won by the Cardinals, and take a look ahead to next week. We will also give the audience and listeners an early glimpse at the boys state poll, which will be released in Tuesday morning's News-Herald.
Coaches expected to appear include Bob Krizancic (Mentor), Jayson Macauda (Brush), Andy Suttell (Euclid), Chad Frazier (Perry), Mark Habat (South), Matt Moran (Chardon), Pat Moran (Madison), Shawn McGregor (Hawken), Dave Wojciechowski (VASJ), Mark Chicone (Lake Catholic) and Matt Ridgeway (Kirtland).
Pizza specials ($5) are available on Mondays at Hooley House, which is located on Route 306 close to Tyler Boulevard.
