PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College women's basketball team will play host to the Ohio Dominican University Panthers on Saturday (Jan. 20) afternoon at 3:00 PM.
Storm Report: Lake Erie is 9-8 overall and 5-6 in the G-MAC following the Storm's latest two game winning streak. On Monday (Jan. 15), the Storm defeated Alderson Broaddus 75-59 and then followed it up with a 94-40 victory against Bluefield State on Wednesday (Jan. 17). Every player in the game scored for the Storm on Wednesday, as the Storm set a season-high for points scored and a season-low for points allowed.
Opposition Position: The Panthers enter the matchup at the Osborne Center with an overall record of 11-6 and a G-MAC mark of 7-4. Ohio Dominican fell 97-86 at Ursuline on Thursday (Jan. 18) night. Sarah Futscher leads the team with an average of 12.4 points per game.
Series History: The Storm is 5-9 against the Panthers in the series as both teams were a part of the GLIAC. The Panthers won both matchups in the series last season.
