PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team will be in action Tuesday (May 2) as they will travel to take on Tiffin University in the GLIAC Quarterfinals, with the game set to start at 7 p.m.
Storm Report: The Storm compiled a 10-4 overall record and went 3-4 in the conference during regular season play. The Storm enters the GLIAC Quarterfinals as the fifth seed. The Storm enters postseason play after a big win over Northern Michigan, 20-4.
Opposition Position: The Dragons are 11-5 overall and 5-2 in conference play this season. The Dragons will enter the Quarterfinal game on a two game losing streak as they fell to both the University of Indianapolis and McKendree this past weekend. The Dragons enter the Quarterfinal match as the three seed.
When the two teams squared off earlier this season Tiffin came away with the win. The second half was a tremendous battle as the Storm had the Dragons lead down to a goal, with just over 12 minutes left in the game, but Tiffin won, 11-9.
Forecast: The winner of the GLIAC Quarterfinal game will advance to play Grand Valley State in the Semifinal match on Friday (May 6).
