PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team will begin the Great Midwest Athletic Conference slate with matchups against the Ohio Valley University Fighting Scots and the University of Findlay Oilers. The Storm will host the Fighting Scots on Thursday (March 15) at 7:00 PM and then will travel to Findlay for a road matchup on Saturday (March 17) at 1:00 PM.
"We are looking to improve on a number of statistical columns and for our players to continue to grow into their positions and roles," said Storm head coach Mallory Ferrandiz. "Our focus is on the game before us. We can compete with the best of them but we need to put together a full 60 minutes. We have had tough competition so it has allowed us to improve on a number of areas of our game, while also allowing our players to learn and grow quickly. We want to continue our gradual improvement into the weekend."
