Saturday afternoon (Dec. 4) will be special for the Lake Erie wrestling program not just because its the first home dual match in program history. The 2 p.m. match against Seton Hill will also be the first Storm Wrestling Youth Day.
All kids age 12 and under will be admitted free if they wear wrestling apparel. General admission for the match is $5.
"Our program needs support," said Head Coach Kevin Hoogenboom. "We have four home duals this year and would like to show the wrestling world and our competition that we have a strong fan base."
Lake Erie (0-3) will take on a Seton Hill (1-3) squad which features two nationally-ranked wrestlers. The Storm is led by freshman Josh Linden (Broadview Heights, Ohio/Brecksville-Broadview Heights), who is 8-2 on the season and 3-0 in dual matches at 174-lbs.
