PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Lake Erie College sophomore outside hitter Jamie Hoppe (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) was named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention team as selected by head coaches within the conference.

Hoppe played in all 26 matches for the Storm and a team-high 87 sets. She led the team with 160 kills and finished second on the squad with 174 digs. A versatile player, Hoppe also accounted for 19 blocks, 13 assists and nine aces.
"It's extremely valuable to have a player like Jamie who can play both front and back row," said Head Coach Brian Coughlin. "Jamie grew kept growing as a player as the season went along and showed she can play with anyone in the GLIAC."
Hoppe smashed a career-high 16 kills in a five set loss to William Jewell at the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament and saved some of her best performances to spur on the Storm as she had at least 11 kills in two of Lake Erie's three victories.
